1. Products and Services
We currently offer digital products (e-books), and may expand to physical books and appointment-based services in the future. All products are sold as-is and are intended for personal use only.
2. Delivery
Digital Products: Delivered via email to the address provided during checkout.
Physical Products (when applicable): Shipped both locally (Malaysia) and internationally. Shipping fees, if any, will be displayed at checkout.
3. Payment Terms
We accept bank transfer as our current payment method.
Payment must be made within 24 hours of placing the order. Orders not paid within this time may be cancelled without notice.
Payment instructions will be provided upon checkout.
4. Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
Digital Products (e-books): Refunds are available upon request but handled on a case-by-case basis. Due to the nature of digital products, we may be strict in issuing refunds. Each product is password-protected and tracked to prevent unauthorized sharing or duplication.
Physical Products (when available): Refunds and exchanges are only accepted if the product is reported on the day of receiving and returned in original condition within 2-3 days. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was on our side. Exchanges may be offered based on stock availability.
5. Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before payment without penalty.
After payment or shipment, cancellations may incur a RM20 penalty fee, or a charge equal to the return shipping cost, whichever applies.
6. Customer Information
We collect customer email addresses for order delivery and communication purposes. If physical shipping becomes relevant, we may also collect shipping addresses and phone numbers. All information is kept confidential and used only for business-related matters.
7. Copyright & Usage
All our products, especially e-books, are protected under copyright law. Customers are strictly prohibited from:
Sharing, redistributing, or publishing our products
Uploading them to public or private websites or forums
Copying or reproducing content in any form without permission
Violation of these terms may result in legal action and permanent banning from our platform.
8. Disclaimer & Liability
Layman's will not be held responsible for:
Lost packages due to incorrect addresses or third-party courier issues
Delivery delays caused by postal services, customs, or natural events
Unauthorized use, distribution, or access to digital files once they have been delivered. However, we reserve the right to take legal action against any customer who violates our copyright terms through unauthorized sharing, copying, or public distribution.
